Coastal Storm: 3/1/18 – 3/2/18

A coastal storm could possibly impact the region late this week with several hazards.

Coastal Flooding:  Minor coastal flooding is possible for the DE coast.

Strong winds:  Northeast winds will range from 25 to 30 mph with 40 to 45 mph gusts from midday Friday through Friday evening along the DE coast.

Heavy rain:  1 to 2 inches of rain are expected late Thursday through Friday. 

UPDATE (3/1/18):

The National Weather Service has given us an update on the storm.  Flooding has been elevated to moderate, along with the winds being elevated to 20-35 mph with 50-65 mph gusts.  Rain has fortunately been decreased to less than an inch.

The storm is expected to hit our area later today through Friday night.
