Property Maintenance and Sanitation

The predominant height of grass and/or weeds is not to exceed 10 inches. Each owner shall be required to cut the weeds and grass on his/her lot and remove rubbish which may accumulate there. All lots east of Route 1 (Coastal Highway) which have been planted with commercial grass to establish a lawn, shall be required to cut.

Other lots east of Route 1 shall not be required to cut because the natural vegetation helps prevent sand erosion and helps to stabilize the soil. The sandy nature of the soil minimizes mosquito problems.
