Coastal Flooding Monday October 11 thru 5PM

A Coastal Flood Warning has been issued for the coastal counties of Delaware and New Jersey. It is in effect until 5:00 PM on Monday. Moderate flooding is expected with the daytime high tides today and Monday. Minor flooding is likely with the high tide tonight.

A Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect for far upper Delaware Bay and for the tidal Delaware River. It has been extended into Monday evening. Widespread minor flooding is anticipated around the times of high tide.

The onshore flow is forecast to weaken on Monday night and Tuesday. Water should begin to slowly drain away from the coast at that time, reducing the potential for tidal flooding.
