THERE WILL BE A PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE TOWN OF FENWICK ISLAND TOWN COUNCIL IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 142 (SUBDIVISION OF LAND) OF THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF FENWICK ISLAND, DELAWARE, ON A REQUEST TO SUBDIVIDE LOTS 184, 185, & 186 (1-34 23.16 190.00) ALSO KNOWN AS 30 BAYSIDE DRIVE, INTO TWO BUILDABLE LOTS LOCATED WITHIN THE INCORPORATED LIMITS OF THE TOWN.
THE HEARING WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2022 AT 2:30 P.M. IN FENWICK ISLAND TOWN HALL.
INTERESTED PERSONS MAY INSPECT PLOT PLANS AT TOWN HALL DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 8:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M.

Traffic Recommendations- Bunting Avenue & Island/Maryland Avenue
Statement on WBOC reporting on Bunting Avenue:
Recently WBOC reported that there was a “proposal” made at the infrastructure committee meeting on August 16 to make Bunting Avenue one way. There is not a proposal or a motion to do so at this time. I had reached out to the Engineering Circuit Rider at the Delaware Center for Transportation. He sent me the following recommendations. Please note that as stated at the meeting any changes would involve significant community outreach and involvement. These are simply ideas recommended by a trained professional in the field.

FIBP Sprint Team wins 2nd Place at USLA Nationals
Congratulations to the FIBP Sprint Team on a 2nd place finish at the USLA National Lifeguard Competition in Hermosa Beach, CA.
The FIBP Sprint Team consists of Gabe Tempert, Joe Larson, Joey Jones, and Adam Snyder.
Student Volunteer
The Town had the pleasure of a student volunteer this past summer named Drew London from McDonogh Schools in Baltimore, MD. Drew worked in the administrative office with a variety of duties.

Town Council Reorganization
The Fenwick Island Town Council held an organizational meeting on Monday, August 15th.
Elected candidates Richard Benn, Ed Bishop and William (Bill) Rymer were sworn-in.
The Council reorganized itself with Natalie Magdeburger nominated as the new Fenwick Island Mayor. Bill Rymer nominated as the Town Treasurer and Jacque Napolitano nominated as the Town Secretary.

2022 Tax Bills have been mailed out to the mailing addresses on file. Payment due date is September 15th.
