Silent Auction Items for the Town Bonfire July 2nd!

Kick off your summer with the annual Fenwick Island Summer Bonfire. It is just around the corner on July 2, 7-11:00 p.m., Dagsboro Street (rain date of 7/3).  This is a family fun event that supports our Fenwick Island Beach Patrol.  The lifeguards participate in an end of summer national event and the summer bonfire raises funds for the guards to attend the event at a lesser rate.

There will be games hosted by the lifeguards for children (before dark), a large bonfire, music with DJ Sky Brady, glow sticks -compliments of town of Fenwick, a 50-50 raffle, a silent auction and t-shirt sales.  We will be collecting donated items of all kinds such as tickets to concerts or sports games, gift cards to local restaurants and stores and anything else people would like to donate. One year a new paddle board was donated!! We are also asking our merchants to get involved by donating toward the event to promote their business as well as support our Fenwick Island Beach Patrol.

A silent auction will include these items along with t-shirts sales at the entrance of the event.  If you would like to donate anything to this cause, please call the town office  at (302) 539-3011 or drop by with your donation.  Bring your beach chairs, blankets, flash lights and food and join families and friends on Dagsboro Street at 7 pm on 7/2 for a fun filled family time!
