ROUTE 54 BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT UPDATE
DelDOT presented updates on the bridge replacement scheduled to begin in October 2024. Two-way traffic will be maintained during the two phases that are scheduled (October 2024-May 2025 and October 2025-May 2026). The project is expected to provide wider sidewalks for bicyclists and pedestrians and embedded lighting is being considered along the sidewalk.
