Notice of Solicitation for Candidates – Town Council Election
The Town of Fenwick Island is currently seeking qualified candidates to serve on the Town Council. Three (3) Council seats are available, each with a term of two (2) years.
To be eligible, candidates must have been registered to vote in the Town for at least one year prior to the election. Candidates must also:
- Be a natural person and citizen of the United States
- Be at least 21 years of age on or before the date of the election
- Be either a bona fide resident or property owner in the Town
- Not have been convicted of a felony
The deadline to file as a candidate is Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. EST. The annual Town Election will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Absentee ballots will be available beginning July 1, 2026, upon submission of an affidavit to the Town.
