ELECTION CANCELLED The election that was to be held on Saturday, August 5th has been cancelled. The 4 sitting council people whose terms were up for election have been re-elected for another 2 year term. Congratulations to Mayor Gene Langan, Vice Mayor Richard Mais, Roy Williams, and Julie Lee!




FI License Plates have arrived!

$12.00/each  Cash Only See Kristy at Town Hall Monday through Friday. Saturdays and Sundays see Flo and Ginny at the Police Department.

Dates of Lifeguards

Lifeguards will be on the beach the following dates & times: 10:00 am-5:00 pm May 27-29 June 2-4 Beginning June 9th – Full time through Labor Day  




Good deed by Officer

Along with other first responders, our own Corporal Kerin visited Brandywine Assisted Living for Mother’s Day handing out flowers and speaking with residents. What a nice gesture and it was appreciated!




Parking Permits

Parking permits are available for purchase and pick up at the POLICE STATION effective Monday, May 15th. See parking rules and regulations in the Police Department section of the website.   Have a wonderful summer!




Mobi Mats

Mobi mats will be in place before Memorial Day. The Town has purchased additional mats and one has been put down on Atlantic Street for all to see.




DART Weekend Bus Service

DART’s 201 Red Line (Lewes Park and Ride to Rehoboth Boardwalk) and 208 Light Blue Line (Rehoboth Park and Ride to Ocean City, MD) expanded bus service operates on Saturdays and Sundays, May 6-21. The 208 runs every 2 hours from 10 AM – 8 PM; for more details visit DartFirstState.com/Beach Bus.
