Protecting Dark Skies
The municipality of Fenwick Island, through the creation of an ad hoc Dark Sky Committee, is committed to educating residents and visitors about the importance of protecting dark skies by limiting light pollution given the well documented deleterious effects that light pollution has on the natural environment and human health. These webpages offer resources developed by DarkSky International (www.darksky.org), a global organization that promotes the importance of dark skies.
