Fenwick Island Residents/Property Owners-
Please be advised that a pavement assessment team from AECOM will be walking the Town streets on Monday, May 2nd. They do believe that they will be finished on Monday, but if they need additional time they will come back Tuesday.
Call Town Hall at 302-539-3011 if you have any questions.
Town Street Restriping will be taking place Tuesday, May 3rd and Wednesday, May 4th. Please have your cars moved off the sides of streets May 2nd-May 5th. If you see the stripers please use caution as the paint will be wet.

SR54 and US1: Artesian Water Service Relocations on Maryland Ave.
On Wednesday, April 20th, the contractor will begin the final phase of work (relocation of 3 water services) on Maryland Avenue. To provide sufficient time to complete this work in one day, they will have 3 crews on-site to begin at 6:00am. All affected customers on Maryland Avenue have been notified and traffic will be maintained through the construction zone via lane shifts.
Town Hall will be closed Friday, April 15th for Good Friday. We will reopen Monday, April 18th at 8am. Have a safe holiday weekend.

There is the potential for severe thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening. Fenwick Island is under a marginal risk.

Hazardous Weather: Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible. These storms may produce locally damaging wind gusts. A couple of tornadoes are also possible.
Locations affected: Highest threat along and west of the I-95 corridor.
Timing: The greatest threat for severe thunderstorms is from 5 PM until Midnight.
Impacts: Downed trees and power lines are possible along with scattered power outages.
Confidence on occurrence: There is moderate confidence that much of the area along and west of I-95 will receive scattered thunderstorms, some of which may be severe.
Please read the letter below from Artesian Water in regards to temporary service interruption scheduled along Island Street and Maryland Avenue April 4th and possibly April 5th (raindate). If your service was going to be impacted you would have received notice from Artesian.
